Generic BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Program Duration

04-Year Degree Program

This is a four-year undergraduate degree program designed to develop competent, ethical, and compassionate nursing professionals. The program integrates theoretical knowledge, clinical practice, and professional values to prepare graduates for safe and effective nursing practice in hospitals, community healthcare settings, and public health services.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with a minimum of 50% marks, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Age Limit: 16 to 35 years (on the closing date of admission).
  • Gender: Open Merit (Male & Female).
  • Domicile & PRC: Required.

Admission Process

  • Admission Test: Conducted by the Sindh Testing Service Pakistan (STS)

  • Test Pattern (100 MCQs):

    • English – 25%

    • Biology – 25%

    • Physics – 25%

    • Chemistry – 25%

  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear before a faculty panel to assess aptitude, communication skills, and suitability for the nursing profession.

  • Medical Fitness: Final admission is subject to medical fitness clearance during orientation.

Post-RN BSN Program

Program Duration

02-year Degree Program

This two-year degree program is designed for registered nurses to enhance their academic knowledge, clinical competence, and leadership abilities. The program builds upon prior nursing education and professional experience, preparing graduates for advanced nursing roles in healthcare institutions and community-based services.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Diploma in General Nursing.

  • Diploma in Midwifery (for male candidates, any post-basic specialty in lieu of midwifery).

  • Minimum 01 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Gender: Male & Female.

  • Domicile & PRC: Required.

Admission Process

  • Admission is granted based on verification of academic qualifications, professional registration, and clinical experience.

  • Shortlisted candidates may be required to appear for an interview as per institutional or regulatory requirements.

  • Medical fitness is mandatory prior to final enrollment.

Community Midwifery (CMW) Program

Program Duration

02-Year Diploma Program (SNEB)

This two-year diploma program aims to train skilled community midwives capable of providing safe maternal, neonatal, and reproductive healthcare services. The program emphasizes hands-on training and community-based care, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

  • Matric (Arts or Science) with a minimum of 40% marks.

  • Gender: Female (as per regulatory guidelines).

Technician Training Courses

Program Duration

01-Year Certificate Program (Sindh Medical Faculty)

These one-year technician training programs are designed to prepare skilled healthcare technicians to support clinical and diagnostic services in hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only candidates holding Sindh Domicile and PRC are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants must have passed Matric (Science Group) with Biology securing a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized Board of Sindh.

  • Candidates who have studied Computer Science instead of Biology are NOT eligible for admission in paramedical training, as per the rules and regulations of the Sindh Medical Faculty.

  • The Matric passing year must not exceed 05 years from the date of admission.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having Intermediate (Pre-Medical) qualification.

  • Age Limit: 15 to 30 years (on the last date of submission of the admission form).

  • Gender: Both Male and Female candidates can apply.

  • Attendance Requirement: A minimum of 85% attendance is mandatory as per Sindh Medical Faculty regulations. Candidates failing to meet this requirement will not be allowed to appear in examinations.

  • Selection Process: Admission will be granted strictly on merit through Sindh Medical Faculty written test and/or interview.

Nurse Assistant (NA) Course
